CRYSTAL BADMINTON CLUB
– “PEG
BOARD”
-
At the end of each game the first person back to the board is allowed to
move all the pegs from that game to the lower level of the board – games
waiting.
-
Each member is then responsible for moving his or her own peg onto the
next available games.
-
It is good etiquette, and expected, that players move their pegs onto
games that are waiting to play in order to ensure that courts are fully
utilised and that they do not hold their pegs back because they don’t
“fancy” the next game. Please remember this badminton club and is run
for “all” members.
-
Should joining the next game result in 3 gents and a 1 lady or vice
versa then the 3 waiting players may elect to wait for another gent or
lady, if this is acceptable to the 4th player. In this case
then the next game waiting can take the court.
-
As stated, the club is for all members and players are encouraged to mix
their games, cliques are not encouraged.
-
When games have finished, please observe court etiquette and don’t run
past other courts whilst other members are playing a point, wait until
the point is finished – this is not only polite but can avoid possible
injury.
